Home Interiors

Home Interiors
The Home Interiors Certificate Program teaches students the basic principles of designing and decorating residential interior spaces.

Students will learn how to draw simple floor plans, select fabrics and accessories, design window treatments, order furniture and specify lighting and other architectural details.

With a few basic interior design skills, students will be able to make a room come alive with color, furniture placement, and other accessories. Combining form and function, students will discover ways to transform a room into a stimulating environment that is functional and also fits an individual's lifestyle.

Courses are taught by professionals working in the fields of architecture and interior design. Small classes allow for individualized instruction. Students will participate in field trips to local businesses - furniture stores, showrooms, and design firms. All courses are conveniently offered in the evening and on the weekends. This certificate can be completed in three to four semesters.

Be sure to sign up for classes - check our current class schedule.
